Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Can someone explain why Hillary Clinton's name remained on the ballot in Michigan? Why was her name allowed to remain on the ballot when the other Presidential candidates names were removed. If the rules are the rules, why was it that she was allowed to break the rules by leaving her name on the ballot? Can someone explain?

The RBC had better be very carefull in their decision today. They could win the battle and lose the war.

The DNC would be better off adopting the Republican Party's winner takes all policy.

I can't explain that except to say that people wonder why the younger generation is the way it is, looks like it can be explained by what is happening... Screw the rules they don't mean anything, I want it my way and I will do whatever it takes FOR ME!! Looks like mirror images from old to young

Yea I agree. we seem to be constantly be screwed by our own government on how rules are interpeted
The Ohio debacle last election. The Florida debacle. I think we should abolish this government And do something like a parliment. There is to much power for one individual and look how he has things all fouled up! who is to say the next one will be any better?? I like Obama and think that someday he will be a fine president. But we need the Clintons in there right now. We don't have time for somebody to "learn the ropes" I hope he sees Hillary as a valuable asset. Cause he is going to need all the backing he can get.

In typical fashion, you gain can't trust what the politicians say. The DNC was outraged when Michigan and Florida jumped their primary dates (I'm from Michigan) and were rightly punished for violating the rules.

Oh, but excuse me, we can't have somebody punished for breaking the rules, that's un-American. But, that's politics for you. What kind of message does that send to our kids ? See, they broke the rules, but if they argue long enough, and boisterous enough, they can still have it their way.

Maybe we should chnge our legal system. If they break the rules and can argue with the judges long enough, they can get out of their sentances.

The DNC, and the fact that when the going got tough, they still caved in, tells me a great deal about what they are all about, and it continues to make me sick.

Most politicians are no longer interested in us, only just in themselves. It's time to start seriously re-thinking a part-time governemt WITH TERM LIMITS.
